For the Elim Church in Jersey this is a very exciting part of our journey. The two Churches on the Island have agreed to amalgamate to become one new church, which will be known as ‘Elim Rock Church’, as from 17th March 2012. We are a community of people who live, basically, on a rock and our foundation of faith is based on the Rock that Jesus said he would build His Church upon, namely He is the Christ, the Son of the living God. Our foundation is built on the most solid foundation of all!
Even though this is a change, the Elim Church has been present on the Island for more than sixty years, so this is just another step in this wonderful journey God is taking us on. God is in the business of giving people new starts, and we are a part of His incredible plan for our beautiful Island. We believe God has a plan and a purpose for us and His plans are always the right way forward.
We are seeing a lot of positive things happening amongst the Island’s churches and we feel we are part of the wonderful things God is, and will be, doing. We are excited about the changes we are facing and are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us. One thing we are convinced about is that God is the instigator of this plan, and the Bible assures us that when we commit our work to Him, He will establish it - Prov. 16:3.
In this we celebrate God’s goodness and direction for us, as we continue to seek and serve Him. To Him alone belongs the glory and praise.

Elim Rock Essentials
1. We are excited about Sundays!
Our Sunday meeting starts at 10.30am, and consists of lively worship, practical relevant teaching enabling individuals
to engage in the word which we believe is the catalyst for transformation in people lives.
2. We know that sharing life is important!
Our life groups are scattered all across the Island, so there is always a small group meeting close to you. We know that
the intimacy of a small group helps us develop friendships and support each other in a real and connected way, for details

3. Discipleship is essential to growing in your faith!
We know the importance of understanding your church family, developing and discovering your spiritual gifts as well as unwrapping your spiritual journey, through our discipleship programs we hope to deliver you into a place where you can use your passions, abilities & life experience to impact others.
